Sandy Paws-Beach/Bay Access/Pet Friendly

Thank you Andy and Travis for saving our vacation last minute when another house fell through. It was the perfect home for pet lovers and families! Thank you! We will be back.

Sandy Paws was the perfect fit for our family’s summer kick off getaway. Andy was a most gracious host! He gladly made to some itinerary changes for us and was very fast to respond to all correspondence before and during the trip. Location was on a quiet street across from the public beach access to Cape San Blas, just a couple blocks from the state park entrance, and a short drive to charming eateries and boutiques in historic Port St Joe.

Sandy Paws is a big, uniquely lovely home in a very natural & wild but welcoming part of Florida. Andy & Travis have done an amazing job setting up the place to make guests feel comfortable & at home, including pets, which we deeply appreciate! (But if it weren't for conveniences like pet bowls & beds etc we wouldn't have known, as it was very clean.) The beds were nice & comfy while the kitchen has a great assortment of utensils, dishes & assorted things you tend to need on vacation. The decks & screened porch were big hits, plus many conveniences like bikes, outdoor shower & golf cart. It's even more spacious than the pictures suggest, with a fun game room & DS mini fridge, big Jacuzzi tub & peaceful, private location just a short walk/drive from the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, sunny, full of shells & not crowded, though we visited in the off season. TH Stone & local food+shops were excellent as well! We had a blast & can't recommend Sandy Paws & its hosts strongly enough.

Andy and Travis were amazing hosts ! Very responsive to any of our questions and offered recommendations for delicious meals. They have a well stocked lovely home. The furniture and bedding was comfortable. There are plenty of games to play and a super cute game room. It was extra nice having access to a golf cart too! Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and the beach and so did we! 😊 Thank you again for sharing Sandy Paws with us! All our best, Stacie and Ronnie

We had a wonderful time at Andy's place. From the moment we arrived, the place felt like home. The house is very spacious, decorated nicely and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you needed. We had messaged a few times prior to the trip when I had questions. Andy was always super quick to respond and answer my questions. This was my first trip to Cape San Blas, but certainly not my last and won't be the last time we rent from Andy!

This was an excellent vacation home for my large family. We loved the location's easy access to both the beach and the bay. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, baking, and making anything you could want with plenty of dishes and utensils available. The house is very large, clean, and spacious with a screened in porch, which we used quite a bit. There was also plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles and kayak trailer. Andy was a great host, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions we had. A++ We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great rental for our party of 7 and one dog. Andy’s place is more spacious than we expected and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked and we appreciated the coffee, dishwasher soap, travel-sized shampoo and starters of paper products. The walk to the beach is short and the beach was not crowded at all (even during spring break).

Sandy Paws was perfect for us! The dogs loved the fenced-in yard! Air Hockey and TV in the gameroom was a plus! We loved the big open kitchen area with all the kitchen utensils needed for our family meals! Golf cart was a plus! (Just be aware it's not legal on the main road) Also, there was plenty of parking! Kayaks! Bikes! Kids toys for all ages! And a dog kennel! The laundry room was an added bonus! Andy and Travis thought of everything, including beach towels! Stay here, you will love it!
